  2. While walking around the city of Glasgow, I find it difficult not to notice the impact of the M8 and the rapid increase of monolithic structures. I see walking as a performative meditation, a rhythm that allows the mind and body to experience the landscape fully. Something that we need in this technologically driven age. Walking is becoming an act that is under threat. The city is full of dead-ends, magnetic currents, and areas that are on the Edgeland. I want to capture these interactive zones, to find poetry out of the commonplace.

Within suburbia I wish to trace a continuity with an ancient past. To catch glimpses of the natural landscape, to show a mythological richness in the present.
